LegalAffiliate Disclosure
In plain English: some links on this site earn us a commission, at no extra cost to you.
pushbike.net is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
What an affiliate link looks like here
On every review, best-of list and comparison, a "Check price on Amazon" button is the affiliate link. We use Amazon search links built from the product name rather than links to one specific listing, because a single ASIN can go out of stock, change color options, or get replaced by a new variant — a search link keeps pointing at something current instead of a dead page. We don't hand-write or guess Amazon product URLs anywhere on the site.
Why affiliate links and not ads
We run no display ads, no pop-ups, and no auto-playing anything. Affiliate commissions are the only way this site makes money, which means the incentive is narrower and easier to check: we only get paid if you decide, on your own, that a recommended bike is worth buying. There's no separate advertiser relationship to disclose beyond the one described on this page.
What this means in practice
- When you click a "Check price on Amazon" link and buy something — anything — within Amazon's referral window, we receive a small percentage. Your price is unchanged; clicking through costs you nothing extra. Amazon sets the length of that referral window, not us.
- Commission rates do not differ between the bikes we compare, so recommending a $60 bike pays us less than a $250 one — and we still recommend the $60 bike when it's the right call, as our budget picks show.
- We buy or borrow the bikes we test. Manufacturers do not review, approve or see our content before publication.
Prices move
Prices shown on this site as "~$X" are approximate at the time of writing. Amazon prices change, sometimes daily and sometimes by a wide margin during a sale, and we can't guarantee the number on our page matches what you'll see when you click through — always check the price on the actual Amazon listing before buying, especially on a bike near a size or budget cutoff where a few dollars might change which pick makes sense for you.
Where the links point
Every affiliate link on this site goes to amazon.com, aimed at a US audience. If you're browsing from outside the US, the link may redirect you to your local Amazon marketplace, or it may not work at all — that redirect behavior is set by Amazon, not by us, and we don't maintain separate affiliate links for other Amazon storefronts.
What we don't do
We don't accept payment for placement in a best-of list, and we don't accept payment for a positive review. No manufacturer sees a draft before it's published, and no ranking on this site is for sale. For more on how a page was actually tested, see how we test; for how we handle any information you send us, see our privacy policy.
